Who We Are

Smiley Lifting Solutions started in 1989 as a locally owned Phoenix operation with one boom truck and a team determined to outwork the problem. That same mindset carried us forward as we added operated crane rental, warehousing, logistics, rigging, specialty lifts, and operator training. What began small became a full-service lifting company customers count on across the Southwest and beyond.
In 1998 we became the exclusive UNIC crane distributor for the United States and Canada, opened in-house manufacturing and maintenance, and began engineering 5-ton and 15-ton UNIC boom trucks and specialty truck builds. We are now the exclusive North American distributor for UNIC mini crawler cranes and owner of the SPYDERCRANE® trademark, with distribution, fabrication, parts, and service operating from our 200,000 sq ft Phoenix facility.
In 2018 we expanded into large all-terrain crane service so customers could get heavy picks from the same team they already trusted for lighter work. Today our fleet spans compact mini crawlers to 770-ton all-terrain cranes, including the Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1, through Smiley Crane Service operated rental across Arizona and surrounding states. Through every stage of growth we have stayed rooted in Phoenix and in the standard we set on day one: safe, efficient work and a team that treats every job like our reputation depends on it.
